Comfort at Cama Home
A long-felt need of the inmates of the Bai Shirinbai M. Cama Convalescent Home at 56, B. J. Road, Bandra (West), Bombay 400050 was met by the trustees — the installing of ceiling fans over each and every bed. A water-cooler was also made available for the use of inmates.
Whilst two patients each from Vadodara and Navsari and one from Surat came to stay at the Home this year, the majority of patients were from different parts of Bombay city.
As the Parsi doctor who attends at the Home was out of India, the trustees appointed another doctor as a stopgap arrangement so that patients could continue to receive medical care. Now that the affable Parsi doctor has returned, he has resumed his weekly visits to the Home.
Trustees Sam Choksey and Bomi Dabhoiwala, both being residents of Bandra, come to the Home regularly to oversee the arrangements and check whether the patients are comfortable.
I appeal to members of our community to take advantage of the many facilities offered by the Cama Convalescent Home, a legacy bequeathed by Shirinbai M. Cama. BHIKHAJI M. ADENWALLA
