Dr Nanabhoy Moos

The Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (an autonomous research organization of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India) was earlier located at Dr Nanabhoy Moos Marg, Colaba, R. C. Church, Bombay 400005.
Dr Moos was the first Indian director of the Colaba and Alibag Observatories. When the Institute got autonomy it was converted into the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism. The Institute has recently introduced a post-doctoral research fellowship scheme called the Nanabhoy Moos Research Fellowship which is to be inaugurated by any relative(s) of Dr Moos, if we can locate them.
