Ship ahoy

Under the heading "Wadia group trivia,” the Mint issue of August 16, 2014 carried the following:
The Star-Spangled Banner, the US national anthem, was composed in 1812 on a ship, the Minden, built by the Wadias.
HMS Cornwallis, a Wadia-built deck, witnessed the signing of the Treaty of Nanking in 1842 under which China ceded Hong Kong to England.
The second oldest ship in the world, HMS Trincomalee, built by the Wadias, is afloat even today in Hartlepool, England.
Wadia Group founder Lowji Nusserwanjee Wadia was one of India’s first master shipbuilders.
Nowrojee Nusserwanjee Wadia started Bombay Dyeing in a humble red-brick shed.
In 1971, then 26-year-old Nusli Wadia saved Bombay Dyeing from a takeover bid from R. P. Goenka.
The group brings out Gladrags, a fashion and lifestyle publication. It conducts the annual Gladrags Megamodel hunt in Bombay.
