To solve the problem

Parsiana’s editorials, readers’ views and controversial articles can be described, in the words of Kevin Fauteux, author of Defusing Angry People as chronically argumentative, abrasive, opinionated and obstinate. Psychiatry refers to such traits as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). To the layman, these are difficult, angry men and women. Fauteux suggests staying calm and talking to the ODD person to try and solve his problem jointly.
Parsiana could benefit from the suggestions made by Fauteux in his book. To diffuse angry people with ODD he suggests implementing the following steps:
Identify problems and select one to work on;
Define the problem: if it is large, break it down to smaller ones and solve those one at a time;
Investigate the problem. Collect data and facts;
Analyze the problem. Find all the possible causes: decide which are the major ones;
Solve the problem. Choose from available solutions. Select ones that have the greatest benefit for everybody. Get approval and support and implement the solution.
Confirm the results. Solution. Collect more data and keep records on the implemented solution. Was the problem fixed? Make sure it stays fixed.
