Why can’t we?

Good food we love to devour and even enjoy a Parsi peg/ Healthy and happy are we; why then in producing children, do we lag?

We enjoy spending money on luxuries of sorts all/ Then why in spending on a child, is there a shortfall?

Have we seriously resolved to perish?/ Only then can others our memory cherish!

Why can’t we upon our shoulders, shoulder/ The responsibility given to us by our ancestors older.

It’s just a question of telling ourselves; making a firm resolution/ We must take an active part in increasing our population. ARMIN DUTIA MOTASHAW
