How do we breed?
Tigers in captivity, you can successfully breed;/ but how does one help this wonderful, dying creed?/ Ahura kind, show me the way, to achieve this deed!
Parsis with their charities, the poor and animals feed;/ but fend cannot, for their own 2nd or 3rd child’s need./ The rich, the benevolent, to my pleas, don’t pay heed.
Indifference, lack of love for the religion, ego, greed;/ how can we, all these obstacles overcome or weed?/ Please O akabars and the rich, help, after this you read.
Because of our lackadaisical attitude, ravaans of our ancestors will bleed./ Why do we, to our own extinction, our young ones lead?/ It is a depressing, dejecting, frustrating situation indeed!
