Why can’t we?
Some people can have several wives just to multiply/ But we, to even produce kids three, are rather shy.
We in Iran were tortured and forced to convert/ Our ancestors were harassed and treated like dirt.
But now, even if we can afford to, we do not plan three/ If the ordinary plans, to him everything should be made free.
Why can’t we take up this responsibility to them educate;/ Homes to young couples if allotted, can change our fate.
Educating them from childhood to marry early, help would/ Respect, love, faith in our great religion, inculcate we should.
Time for prayers, we hardly have; but TV, movies, parties are a must/ Never will we reach our goal, if this we do not into them thrust.
Rights are fine but with duty divine, should go, hand in hand/ If we waste our time, money and efforts, nowhere will we land.
Weak parents cannot produce a generation strong/ Why can’t we fulfill our duty; what with us is wrong?
