Showpiece printing

At the eighth edition of the Asian Print Awards held at Macau, China on November 24, 2010, JAK Printers of Bombay once again stamped their winning impress. They won the Gold Award for their entry in the Postcard and Greeting Card category and a Bronze Award in the Posters, Showcards — four or more colors category.

"Last year’s Gold winners will be this year’s Silver or Bronze winners. It’s getting harder each year,” stated Alf Carrigan, chairman of the judging committee. The Asian Print Awards is the only competition of its kind in Asia, recognizing excellence in the print and packaging industries throughout the vast continent. All entries are coded by numbers only. The independent judges selected from across the world have no knowledge of who the entrants are.
Winner of the Bombay Master Printers Association’s Printer of the Year award for the last four years, JAK Printers rely on their in-house pre and post-press specialized skills to add to their tally of trophies year after year.
