Triumphant JAK Printers’ team display their trophies
"The awards are given to printers who have brought new ideas and a different approach to product development by working in tandem with their strength and expertise in print,” noted Manoj Mehta, president of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) which organized the event along with the Karnataka State Printers’ Association. Karnataka governor Hans Raj Bhardwaj, who was the guest of honor, presented the awards on September 23, 2011. This year 1,970 entries were submitted by 127 printing firms from all over India, the highest number so far for NAEP awards. Bhardwaj’s observation that the "print media cannot be replaced” was received with much acclaim by the assembled printers.
