New team in Nagpur

At the triennial general election of the Shree Nagpur and Kamthi Parsi Zarthosti Anjuman for 2010 to 2013, Aspi D. Bapuna (president), Navroz B. Daver (vice president), Shiraz J. Gimi (honorary secretary), Narges N. Desai (honorary treasurer) and Mehroo K. Watchmaker (lady member) romped home unopposed, Rusi H. Godha, assistant honorary secretary of the Anjuman informed Parsiana via a press release. Also elected as members after a keen contest were Shiraz K. Doongaji, Godha, Sharukh J. Cassad, Rayomand K. Madan, Pauruchisti P. Kotwal, Cyrus H. Major and Cyrus K. Watchmaker. Madan will be the assistant honorary treasurer.

Also nominated as members for the various trust funds are Rhoda M. Patel, Dr Thrity D. Patel, Adi Magra, Navroze F. Bhagwagar, Rustom M. Hormusjee and Gev M. Avari, Godha reveals. Returning officer Khushroo A. Poacha, who conducted the election on March 28, 2010, announced the names of members of the new managing committee, congratulated the successful candidates and wished the team luck in handling the tasks that lie ahead during their tenure.
