Vocational training

It is observed that the Parsi community lags behind in the fields of education, sports, nurturing hobbies and vocational training because of lack of awareness and enthusiasm.
Girls excel over boys in education in all communities. In many cities in our country unique private institutions are established for imparting vocational training in hospitality, retail management, fashion designing, computers and the art of cookery, with audiovisual aids. Also, there is a provision for crèches for babies and young children so that women can attend such classes.
If similar institutions are established for Zoroastrians it will prove a boon for our boys and girls. This can be done with proper planning, consultation and support of industrialists, professionals, educationists, knowledgeable persons, social workers and volunteers. There should also be a provision for financial assistance for economically weak yet deserving students.
Such institutions will help improve the life of unfortunates as well as give satisfaction to the organizers and inspire others to do such good work.
