“Seeking a blessing”

In response to N. Madan’s "Seeking a blessing” (Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, June 21, 2005) the following may be appropriate as this was used in the girl guide/scouting movement:
"Humatnam, Hurvatnam, Huvarashtnam, yadcha anyadacha, verajayngnamcha, veirejennamcha, mahi ayshe-jaretaro yathna vohunam mahi.
Tat et vahrimazdi, Ahura Mazda asha strira hyat i mainimdicha, vaochoimacha, verezimacha, yo hatam shyotnenam vahishta revyat ushoshya ahushya.
Yeghe hatam aat yesne paiti vangho, Mazdao Ahuro vaetha ashat hacha, yaonghamcha, tascha taoscha yazamaide. Yatha ahu vairyo (two), Ashem Vohu (two).
A hospital in London, Ontario, Canada, opened a "quiet room” for people to pray/meditate and in the opening ceremony all religions were represented and our priest Ervad Tehemton Mirza prayed the Tandarosti. So, I guess a Tandarosti could also be prayed.

With reference to N. Madan’s letter "Seeking a blessing” (Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, June 21, 2005) according to the Zoroastrian Pazand texts and Avesta prayers, the most prolific prayer which can be considered for the inauguration of a family business (a prayer/blessing which is short) is the Yatha ahu vairyo (Ahunavar) prayer. A person should recite five Ahunavars.
