Mogal opined that while selecting institutes for higher education, parents and students should opt for those which organize placements. He also felt that they should take advantage of the Gujarat government’s new policy of providing higher education for upper castes as that would ease the financial burden on Parsi trusts that give educational aid to deserving students. He also requested Zoroastrians to extend a helping hand for protecting the dakhma lands. Baria felicitated Azmin Mogal for securing first class in the MBA (Master of Business Administration) examination and Dr Kayomaz Mogal on his success in the Ayurvedic examination and obtaining the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery) degree, the write-up reveals.
Chothia appreciated the constructive activities of the SMPA and dwelt on the problems faced by smaller anjumans, while Baria spoke on the social responsibilities of trustees. SMPA trustee Parvez Bacha and Rohitan Mogal felicitated trustees of the Vyara, Mandvi, Vansda, Gandevi and Bilimora Anjumans. The event concluded with lunch catered by Soonu Kasad of Avan Baug, Navsari.
