“Growing fundamentalism”
I have read with disdain the several opinions expressed by Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) trustee Khojeste Mistree ("Growing fundamentalism,” Parsiana August 21, 2014.
In the face of very reliable surveys carried out by your magazine where 80% or more disagree with Mistree’s opinions, he persists that his views are those of the majority. He and his few cohorts claim to be the sole, current day apostles. Their claims about an inward-looking Zoroastrianism, cremation and the boycott of the two priests are not only outdated and non scriptural, but bogus.
The Parsis should reject such persons at the 2015 BPP trusteeship elections if they want to safeguard our holy religion.
