“Doongerwadi fire doused”

"Doongerwadi fire doused”
From the Bombay Parsi Punchayet’s reply ("Doongerwadi fire doused,” Events and Personalities, Parsiana, April 21, 2014) it seems that the residents of the Mobed Building are throwing their garbage out of the windows instead of giving it to the kachrawala (sweeper). This must be stopped immediately, otherwise another fire may occur causing massive damage to buildings at Doongerwadi and even buildings outside Doongerwadi.
Why should Parsis throw kachra (litter) out of the windows and why is it not being cleared every day? In future, I hope the Doongerwadi grounds will be looked after in a better manner. JAL DESAI
