State of Doongerwadi

It is alleged that Jamsheed Kanga and Homi Khusrokhan have moved the courts just to achieve their so-called reformist agenda. It is unrealistic to imagine that they have done this merely to convert non-Zoroastrians or establish a crematorium at Doongerwadi.
The state of affairs at Doongerwadi where bodies rot and decompose for months is the only reason why many religious and orthodox minded Parsis opt for cremation. I would like to ask the current Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) trustees what steps they have taken during their two years in office to start the aviary project about which they were so vociferous and had unjustifiably criticized the earlier BPP board? In fact the High Priests and Khojeste Mistree are on record as saying that the solar panels are partial crematoriums and such a mode of disposal is contrary to our religious tenets. Why don’t the trustees apply their mind to finding out a more acceptable method that does not pollute the environment instead of imposing a defunct custom as if it is a religious tenet? That would put an end to controversies.
It is mentioned that Khusrokhan and Kanga are receiving free legal services. That speaks eloquently for their stature and standing in contrast to that of the present BPP trustees.
