Dallas Todywalla, Pesi Shroff and Hormuzd Antia were the top three trainers in the Poona racing season which concluded on October 30, 2013, with 30, 27 and 21 wins respectively.

At the Goa River Marathon held on December 8, 2013, Khurshid Mistry stood first in the women’s veteran category in the 21 km half marathon with a timing of 1:54:02. Pervin Batliwala took top spot in the women’s senior veteran category, with a time of 2:04:19.

At the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) National Swimming Championship 2013 held at Sonipat, Haryana in November, Delzine Irani was part of the relay team which bagged silver in the 4x100 m medley relay and bronze in the 4x100 m freestyle relay in the girls under-14 category. She represented the Indian School, Al Ghubra, Oman where she studies at present.

At the 27th National under-9 Girls Chess Championship in Madras from November 6 to 14, Tinaz Dinkoo Mistry of Baroda bagged seven points from 11 games and was ranked 28th. At present she is the only Parsi girl who has an international FIDE (World Chess Federation) ranking, as per press reports.
