A few retired officers of the Bank of India established The People’s Co-operative Credit Society Limited in 2001 to help senior citizens earn a reasonable interest on their deposits as the returns offered by banks had nosedived. Many Zoroastrians of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad have become members of the Society. Five percent of the profits of the Society are earmarked for the Common Good Fund from which these amounts were disbursed to the School.
