“Sovereign sesquicentennial”

I was shocked to see in "Sovereign sesquicentennial” (Parsiana, October 21, 2011) the layout for the table for lunch for Prince Philip.

One does not, repeat not, have a tablecloth and mats laid out together for any meal! Also, glasses were placed on the left instead of the right! They are placed on the left only when one eats a patranu bhonu or from a thali!

I just cannot imagine a table laid out in this manner, especially by the Parsis who are supposed to be an enlightened race!
