“In peace and dignity”
Your cover story "In peace and dignity” (Parsiana, September 21, 2006) about the home for senior citizens in Bombay gave my troubled heart a rest. I am 71 years old. But when I read further and saw the pictures I realized this is a five star product, not meant for middle class seniors like me. So grand. So luxurious. It will cost around Rs 10,000 per month. And only those who are mobile will be admitted.

Now tell me, if I had Rs 10,000, why would I not stay where I am and be looked after by old friends, the juddins? If mobile, why would I leave my present middle class home?
It would be very enlightening to know who will stay in these homes. Keep us informed, Parsiana.
