“Battle for Jinnah House”
The item "Battle for Jinnah House” (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, September 21, 2010) is illustrated with a photograph of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his daughter Dina. Significantly, also in the same photographs are Jinnah’s pet dogs, a West Highland White Terrier and a crop-eared Doberman. While traditional Muslims prefer to keep their distance from such loyal pets, Jinnah obviously was quite open about his predilections, which included a fondness for drinks and an unrestricted diet.
With such a progressive and broad-minded person as "Father of the Nation,” is it not a pity that Pakistan should now be enslaved by demagogues and fundamentalists?
