Mehta gave me strength

Five years back I was diagnosed as having cataracts in both eyes. Never having had any operation before, and being afraid of injections, I became worried and was unable to sleep.

By chance I happened to see an article in Parsiana that Dr Cyres Mehta performs laser operations with a one mm hole. I wrote to him expressing my fears. He promptly wrote back, inspiring my confidence. During my first operation he even played music (my favorite hobby). The following year, when I went back for the second operation I told him I was nervous. He said: "I’m here,” which gave me strength and I shall never forget this.

I wish he were a general surgeon. I would take the next available airplane and go to him!
