The overwhelming success of the first ever All Parsee Sports Quiz conceptualized and conducted by the keen and innovative quiz master Behram Aderbad has inspired the Sir Ness Wadia Club of Rustom Baug to organize another brainstorming event of a magnitude never seen before, the All Parsee General Quiz which will be held on November 9, 2008. The Sports Quiz, held on June 3, 2007, garnered much appreciation from the audience as well as participants, some of whom had come from as far away as Surat. Despite the rain playing spoilsport, the enthusiastic crowd stayed on till the very end, reveals Rustom Jasoomoney, president of the Club in a write-up sent to Parsiana.

Researched by Rustom Baug residents Aderbad and his wife Ruby, the All Parsee General Quiz plans to cover a wide array of topics from the Zoroastrian religion, World War II, history, geography, science, women of substance, as well as an audio visual round. Aderbad and his enthusiastic team of young volunteers are burning the midnight oil to compile and organize this jumbo event which aims to reach out to the most well versed youth of our community, reveals the write-up.
The participation fee for the All Parsee General Quiz will be Rs 300 per team of three, states an advertisement in the Jam-e-Jamshed Weekly of September 14, 2008. There are attractive prizes for participants as well as for members of the audience. The Sir Ness Wadia Club and its committee members require greater participation from our youth as well as a larger number of philanthropic Parsi Zoroastrians to sponsor the event, urges Jasoomoney. Those interested in sponsoring and/or participating in the event may contact Minoo Wadia (Club custodian) at 9920636022, Behram Aderbad at 9833327055 or Ruby Aderbad at 9870588258.
