Fun in the rain
Rustom Baug won the Rohinton Chinoy Championship Trophy at the 10th All Parsee Monsoon Games held on August 27, 2006 at the Rustom Baug grounds. Over 220 Zoroastrians participated in football, throwball and tug-of-war, states a brief report on the event from sports enthusiast Zyros Zend, forwarded to Parsiana by Noshir Dadrawala.

With a total of 16 teams with eight boys and six girls to a team, Rustom Baug surged ahead with 21 points, with Malcolm Baug (14 points) in second place. Burzin Irani (Tyttans) and Scherezade Mistry (Rustom Baug) were the best male and female players respectively. The Monsoon Games were sponsored by Union Press, Peekay Wines, WZO, WIBS, R. R. Acharia and Company and Curiosity, a furniture shop at Bandra. Dr Porus Turner, president of the Sir Ness Wadia Club, was the chief guest. Darius Randelia, Behram Irani, Team Irani members and Zubin Jasumani organized the event, as per the e-mail.
