Errata
In Parsiana of August 21, 2008 all photographs used in "The enthusiastic entrepreneur” are by Sarosh Daruwalla, Mazda Audio Visual Lab. The omission of the photo credits is regretted.
In "The right to freely profess...”by Fali S. Nariman, also in the same issue, a line was inadvertantly dropped at the end of page 57. The paragraph should read: "Some rights (fundamental rights) conferred in Part III of the Constitution are enforceable only against the State (like Articles 14, 19 and 21) but rights conferred by other Articles in the Fundamental Rights Chapter are enforceable even against private persons indulging in a constitutionally prohibited practice. This has been so held by the Supreme Court of India in a decision reported in AIR 1982 S.C. 1473 para 12 (followed in AIR 1983 S.C. 328: paragraph 3): a case under Article 23 of the Constitution (Prohibition of traffic in human beings and forced labor): an Article also in the Fundamental Rights Chapter. The question on which there is as yet no authoritative decision of the Supreme Court is whether Article 25(1) falls within the category of rights that are available also against individuals or trustees. In my opinion this is the better view.” The error is regretted-Editors
