Dr Rustom Cama Road
The memory of Dr Rustom Cama, "an eminent and highly respected medical practitioner who served Baroda city for nearly six decades” was perpetuated by a road being named after him in the Alkapuri area of Baroda.
A write-up on the occasion sent to Parsiana by Jal Patel, president of Shree Parsi Panchayat, Vadodara noted that the July 23, 2006 function was jointly organized by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, Indian Medical Association, Vadodara and the Vadodara Pan-chayat.

The mayor of Vadodara Sunil Solanki and leader of the opposition in the Vadodara Municipal Corporation Chirag Zaveri praised Cama and the Parsis. Former Vadodara Panchayat president Shavak Patel termed Cama "a noble person” while a message from Jal Patel referred to Cama as a "rare, dignified and gracious man who lived his life based on humanitarian principles with love and care of the poor as his guiding principles.” Dr Bhaskar Vankani, president, Indian Medical Association, Vadodara recalled the clinic of Cama filled with patients from all strata of society and how each patient was treated with equal care and affection. Kantibhai Hadvaid, who was responsible many years ago for moving the proposal of naming the road in memory of Dr Cama, said that it was a honor well bestowed on a noble person.
Cama’s son Baman thanked the 300 strong gathering for organizing the event and for the kind words said about his father.
