Mastery of law
At the LLM (Master of Law) results declared by the Gujarat University in 2004, Delnaz Shethna topped the list of successful students, notes a press release. Securing 289 out of 400 in the LLM Part I examination in 2004 and 259 out of 400 in the Part II examination in 2003, she scored a total 548.

Shethna: top scorer
She scored the highest, 77 percent in Jurisprudence, 72 percent in Specific Torts, and 70 percent each in Constitutional Law of India and General Principles of the Law of Torts in the LLM Part I examination. In the LLM Part II examination she scored 70 percent in Criminal Procedure and Indian Evidence Act, 65 percent in Specific Offences, 64 percent in Criminology and Penology and 60 percent in History and General Principles of Criminal Law.
Daughter of Justice Behram Shethna of the Gujarat High Court, after passing her LLB examination in 2001, Delnaz enrolled as an advocate on the Bar Council of Gujarat, notes a release forwarded by her uncle Kersi Shethna, former president of the Ahmedabad Parsi Panchayat.
