Distinction for Dutia

Scoring the highest among all females from Gujarat and ranking fourth among all students from Ahmedabad at the final CA examination, Shezrin Viraf Dutia was conferred a gold medal, mentions a press release. Currently pursuing her third year of LLB studies, 22-year-old Dutia hopes to do her masters in business administration.

A brilliant student throughout her academic career Dutia had completed her schooling from Mt Carmel with distinction after which she went to St Xavier’s, passing her Higher Secondary Certificate examination with distinction and qualifying as a national scholar. She completed her BCom from the L. J. College, winning a national scholarship yet again, according to her curriculum vitae. While her grandfather Keki Motashaw, an eminent advocate, has guided her along the way, the credit for her strong academic foundation goes to her grandmother Jerbanu Taraporewala who was a teacher at St Xavier’s, states the press release.

Nothing is impossible for a youth who has decided on his/her goal and pursues it with single-minded devotion and faith in Ahura Mazda, believes Dutia. Despite her accomplishments she remains "humble and polite (and) respects the elders in the community,” mentions Noshir Daboo of Ahmedabad.
