We fight for peace

I am a 13-year-old subscriber to your magazine who was recently inspired to write a little poem:
So many times in life,/We seem to forget who we are,/And what our duties are./So often it seems as if,/Humanity just died./Along with the true religion./Haven’t we so often fought,/Within ourselves?/Haven’t we fought with another caste?/And isn’t it wrong?/We fight in the name of god,/Though god willed us to remain peaceful,/We fight in the name of religion,/Though religion, is another word,/For peace and harmony amongst all./Let’s preserve our religion well,/Let the others rise and fall,/Let us be kind and helpful to all,/Let us stay stable, let our roses not wither,/Because we are Zoroastrians,/And that’s what we owe our religion.
