Donate for dispensary

With the blessings of Pak Iranshah, the Seth M. C. Damanwalla Charitable Dispensary was established in Udvada way back in 1867 to cater to the medical needs of the poor Parsi inhabitants. However with the passage of time and few funds rolling in, we extended this service to other ailing and deserving people of sister communities of Udvada and surrounding villages.
Our activities today include free medicines and doctor’s care not only for the Parsis of Udvada but also to those Parsis who visit the town to pay homage to Iranshah; doctor’s visit to patient’s residence at Rs 10 per visit during daytime and Rs 20 during the night; medicines and doctor’s attention at highly con-cessional rates to members of sister communities in and around Udvada; absolutely free medicines and doctor’s care to people living below the poverty line.
With the phenomenal increase in the price of medicines, coupled with inflated staff salary bills, we find it absolutely impossible to sustain our month-to-month operations without incurring appreciable loss. Though our hearts cry out for the sick and needy, there is very little we can do for them without your love and help.

Seth M. C. Damanwalla Charitable Dispensary: in need of funds

We therefore make a fervent appeal to all fellow Zoroastrians to extend their utmost help to this philanthropic and noble institution. Please remember, charity for the benefit of the sick and the suffering is never lost.
