A Parsi’s creed

Ahura Mazda sent us a Prophet

So that from his teachings we could profit.

Listen to me, my dost,

Listen to the words of Asho Zarthost.

His message to the youth

Is: Always speak the truth.

Be ready to fight and die

If ever you’re asked to tell a lie.

The path of Asha you must always walk on,

For you are a Parsi Zarathushti born.

You are of a high-born breed,

Righteousness must always be your creed.

Remember to help every person in need,

Live a life of good thought, good word and good deed.
