Appeal for funds

The Parsi community both in India and abroad is well aware of the medical services provided by The B. D. Petit Parsee General Hospital to the community in general and to our less fortunate brethren since the last 101 years. At present the Hospital has 195 beds of which 96 beds (49 percent) are for free and highly subsidized patients. The Hospital spent Rs 9,03,63,000 on charity care out of a total expenditure of Rs 18,24,81,000 during the year 2011-2012 besides spending Rs 1,02,80,000 on upgrading/replacing medical equipment with state of the art health care facilities.
We are able to provide such a large volume of charity care to the poor only because of the continuing financial support from kind and concerned members of the community.
