“If you opt for cremation”

I have read with interest the item "If you opt for cremation” (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, November 2001).

Some of us in Vashi are in our 80s and would be truly glad to have details of similar facilities which might exist in New Bombay towns like Vashi, Nerul, Belapur, etc. No mobed, let alone an agiary, is available and we would like to know the name and address of the nearest person who would be willing to pray in a private location for the few Zoroastrian families or individuals residing there. We come under a different police commissioner and a different corporation from those of Bombay and the hassles of bringing a dead body to Bombay (at a very wrong juncture) are considerable and we are left with no option but cremation in the nearest crematorium.
