"Balancing and building"

Historian Dr Dinyar Patel when recalling the role played by the Cama family ("Balancing and building," Parsiana, September 7, 2017)) wrote about essay writing by girls, as encouraged by Kharshedji Nassarvanji Cama. It was laudable of him to make girl students write on "Astrology is bunk."

The whole mythical, mystical world of planetary systems, of theology, of the occult — séances, summoning the dead, and after-life, out-of-body experiences, Tantra, tantric sex, is a world of garbled mumbo-jumbo where gurus have taken too many for a ride.
