When young bawas meet

[Ode to the meet of the Federation of Zoroastrian Youth Associations (FOZYA) of India in Poona from October 29-31, 2016]
Flavor in life is when crazy people gather for fun and games/ With so many bawas together you might as well shed all shame./ For nothing is more exciting and mind-boggling as a bawa meet;/ The recent one in Poona was a Parsi style bumper treat.
Erin Nagarvala School’s dorms were where we were stationed,/ I am sure from now on our nude singing baths would be fabled!/ The many icebreakers were where we bonded as new friends,/ Rocky made us jive to the salsa and at the Taj to all dance trends.
Fun too were the interspersed lectures and sessions/ The Serum Institute and the Poonawallas’ felicitation./ Noisy were the ‘no balls’ bus rides and venomous the debate;/ But come lunch, dinner or breakfast everyone loved what they ate.
Exciting was it to see Russian belly dancers shake a leg/ And the banter in the night after we had our Parsi peg;/ Packed in those three days was the fun we could have for a full fall/ Mabrin and FOZYA team, three cheers to you all!
