Parsiana’s strengths: Extensive coverage of people in our community in the form of events and achievements in India and abroad. Improved pictorial coverage. Shortcomings: Lack of articles about the religion and prayers to educate the young. Recipes may be included as also our typical Parsi humor.

Parsiana’s strengths: Fearless and honest reporting on all matters concerning our Zarthoshti community and religion.

Parsiana’s strengths: Wide coverage. Good editorials. Shortcomings: Invite academicians and researchers to contribute articles on Parsi/Irani/Zoroastrian subjects related to history, archeology, economics, sociology, demography, etc.
Dr (Ms) ARMAITY S. DESAI

Parsiana’s strengths: Good coverage of current happenings in the community; well researched articles on Parsi history; interesting articles on religious matters. Shortcomings: Suggest you get readers’ participation to share Parsi recipes, have a joke page also, cover topics of law in relation to Parsi housing colonies, cover articles related to places of worship or Parsi villages and also articles related to the medical world.

Readers’ contributions are always welcome

Parsiana’s strengths: Parsiana gives us an insight into what is happening in our community in India and abroad. Being based in Gulbarga (Karnataka) we have only a couple of families residing here. So it is Parsiana which keeps us abreast of all community work and welfare. Please keep on doing your good work. Our good wishes are always with you.

Parsiana’s strengths: Wide coverage and news. Shortcomings: A concerted effort to run down the orthodox view. I wish Sir Hormasji Cowasjee Dinshaw was alive and read Parsiana.
KEKI H. LAKDAVALA

The editors reply:
Sir Hormusji was an educated, thoughtful person. Looking to the current circumstances, he may have agreed with the magazine’s stance. If Zoroaster were alive he too could have clarified if he meant his religion to be for all or only for a handful of people belonging to a particular group. Would he have approved of the discrimination against women followers of his faith? One can speculate endlessly.

Parsiana’s strengths: Good, comprehensive reporting. DARIUS H. NUSSERWANJI

Parsiana’s strengths: You have stood up to defend your convictions, which is good. Shortcomings: Parsiana is being perceived as a "reformist” publication. Maybe you could change that to a more balanced image.
