Eminent Parsi ecologists

Featured in the Kutuhal (Discovery) column of three issues of the Marathi daily Loksatta in April 2016 are Prof Faredoon R. Bharucha, the pioneering botanist who introduced the science of ecology in India, Dr V. M. Meher-Homji, internationally known for his research on forests and climates, and Dr Ardeshir Damania, whose contribution to the conservation of genetic resources is remarkable.
​The Kutuhal series is edited by the well-known doyen of environmental sciences, Prof S. B. Chaphekar who has highlighted the achievements of these distinguished Parsi scientists.
