Misuse of premises

Recently in a Parsi publication I read a letter highlighting and deploring the tendency of a few affluent members of the community cornering flats in colonies and using them for commercial purposes. Are these the sort of beneficiaries the late Jerbai Wadia and other philanthropists had in mind while establishing these colonies? I feel it is the duty of the trustees of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) to rectify such wrong usage of residential premises by taking appropriate legal action against the selfish occupants.
No efforts of the Jiyo Parsi program will ever be fruitful when young Parsi couples are deprived of suitable accommodation in areas close to their workplace and allotted flats in far flung areas entailing long distance travel while undeserving, self-centered people monopolize occupation of more than one charity flat in the city.
The newly inducted team of trustees at the BPP is urged to take decisive action in the matter. HOMI DALAL
