Sethna’s sartorial style

In the five years since she launched her fashion brand NCreatiions, Natasha Sethna has been able to carve a niche for herself in the segment of "illustrious bridal and trousseau saris” for women of all ages. "Our saris focus on intricate and exquisite embroideries with minute attention to detail. The brand reflects art, style and luxury, incorporating a good balance of traditional and modern designs,” states Sethna whose customized saris including garas, kors and other varieties are in demand from all corners of the globe. NCreatiions also supplies embroidered kaftans to Erikka Moxam who runs a high-end boutique in Cayman Islands, USA, notes a profile of this business venture. With dedicated and personalized attention they ensure that they don’t have to compromise on quality and design.
Born and brought up in Rustom Baug, Sethna’s creativity has been on display at community events like the May Queen Ball as also the 125th anniversary of the Parsi Gymkhana at Marine Drive when she had crafted delicately embroidered dresses for one round and heavy bridal and trousseau saris for another.

Having always nurtured a keen interest in arts, Sethna says, "Fashion designing started as an interest and soon turned into a passion.” Once she had decided on her specialization, she focused all her energies towards that goal. She studied commercial art at the Sophia Polytechnic for one year followed by a three-year specialization in fashion designing. Skills in textile designing were honed at The Synthetic and Art Silk Mills’ Research Association (SASMIRA) College. Whilst training she did internships at the RTI Children Designing Department and later assisted Bollywood celebrity designer Anna Singh who designs for cinestars and events like IIFA Awards. Prior to launching her own brand, for two years she worked as a team designer with Chemistry, a high street Indian brand.
She gives credit to her husband Sharzad Sethna "who has not only guided me to survive the cut-throat world of fashion designing but has also supported all my decisions from day one.” Her parents, Soonu and Gev Bhamgara "inculcated good morals and values in me which is the crux of my business and work ethics,” appreciates the young designer. Her parents-in-law Pervin and Rustom Sethna, as also son Kylle have further inspired her to run NCreatiions.
