Jumjoji advertisement
The advertisement for the Jumjoji restaurant (Parsiana, December 7, 2012) was in abominable taste and not worth printing in a magazine of your stature. It takes liberties with a Parsi icon long departed, Freddie Mercury, and challenges him in gutter language to sue the advertiser for using his picture.
It is true that Parsiana does excellent work for the community on a shoestring budget, and is always in need of funds. You should however have drawn the line at this most objectionable advertisement, and refused to publish it.

The editors reply:
Unfortunately the receipt of the advertisement was delayed and sent to the press without scrutiny as the office was closed on the day it was forwarded. The advertiser and the partner of the restaurant have apologized for the material (see "Outrageous advertisement,” Readers’ Forum, January 21, 2013) and Parsiana also extends an unconditional apology for the mishap.
