Whither, Parsiana?

I subscribed to your magazine thinking it would make good reading and help me to catch up on community events and views. It is sad to note that your publication is not at all satisfactory anymore. Except for that solitary article on garas, nothing of significance was carried in the December 2004 issue. And the other stuff was a repeat of the information already available in Jamé so why duplicate the effort? This time Parsiana had so many advertisements that it resembled the souvenir of a charity organization doing a show to garner money for a noble cause. I sure hope to have something more to read next time.

The Editors reply

The December issue every year features the Parsiana calendar and an article or two focusing on celebrations.

Earlier Parsiana had 10 issues in a year but because of postal requirements we had to increase the number to 12. Thus subscribers receive more copies for the same price. In addition to the calendar we also send out a pocket date diary.

We realize that subscribers would like 12 full issues but due to our limited resources it is not possible for us to do that. Our March and August issues however contain over 240 pages and the reading editorial content is double that of the normal issues.
