Lions for infant care

Two neo natal ventilators were donated to the Ruxmani Lying-In Hospital by the Lions Club of Babulnath, with generous funding from the Lions Clubs International Foundation. Required for the care of ill or prematurely born infants, the ventilators were inaugurated on May 24, 2012 by Lion Pradip Kapadia, district governor of district 323AI. Chairperson for the project was Lion Kasshmira Changkakty of the Babulnath Club.
A write-up sent by Lion Aban Patel reveals that the "grand old edifice, known as Ruxmani Lying-In Hospital, at the corner of Babulnath Road... came into existence at a time when the lives of women and infants were at stake during childbirth... The Hospital is striving to offer the most professional attention in health care... to the lower strata of society in particular.” The Shree Ram Ek Dharmada Trust which started the Hospital continues to upgrade the facilities with the latest equipment, and the Lions Club of Babulnath has now added to their efforts.
