The Lions at Masina
The renovated orthopedic theater at Bombay’s Masina Hospital was inaugurated by Dr Aspi Golwalla, senior trustee of Masina Hospital in the presence of orthopedic surgeon Dr Sharukh Vatcha, district governor Lion Dr Keki Dalal and international secretary of Lions Clubs International (India, South Asia and Africa) Lion Neville Mehta on May 7, 2006.

The state of the art equipment for the theater was donated by the Lions Club of Babulnath. The project cost of Rs 45 lakhs was funded by the Lions Clubs International Foundation, USA, notes a press release, giving credit to Lion Ashok Mehta, international president of Lions International for his contribution as also to Neville Mehta for initiating and implementing this undertaking. Lion Kasshmira Changkakty’s efforts too have been recognized in overseeing the program aimed to providing the best treatment to all persons at reasonable costs.
