Parsiana’s strengths are world wide coverage. Its shortcomings are too many advertisements and too much coverage on interfaith issues. Just let it be.

Your strengths are objectivity, being positive, balanced, intelligent and open-minded. Shortcomings: Too liberal at times.

The magazine does a good job in covering Parsi events/personalities around the globe. Stop putting pictures of ultra reformist events/personalities on your cover as they deeply hurt the feelings of the orthodox.

You provide balanced and rational reporting of community events. I believe you could enhance the impact factor if you could reach out to the young, those under 30 years old. Keep up the good work.

Parsiana is straightforward and not biased. You should concentrate on articles on youth as they are the future of our community.

Your strengths are unbiased reporting, good printing and paper and very good cover plates. You have come a long way since I used to read the cyclostyled issues! The shortcomings are: Too much reporting of community squabbles. Please produce articles of achievements of both the older as well as the present generation to inspire our youth.

Parsiana’s strengths are columns like So They Say!, Events and Personalities, Figures at a Glance. Shortcomings: Broken record on liberalization of Zoroastrians. I would prefer to read more liberal conservatism or progressive conservation of Zoroastrianism.

Your strength is reporting goings-on among the Parsis and Iranis the world over. Shortcomings: Along with a small minority, Parsiana appears to have forgotten why our forefathers fled to India... to preserve the religion, its tenets and practices.

Parsiana’s strengths: Bold, daring, in your face, candid, frank, intrepid reporting. These are hallmarks of good journalism. Love your editorial page and people abroad. Shortcomings: Often community matters are lengthy, pedantic and make for heavy reading; each and every detail does not need to be mentioned. Make it short and to the point. Maybe you could add a recipe page and a society page (like Bombay Times).

Strength: Keeping the community together. Shortcomings: Some views do seem biased. But we Parsis are controversial and love arguing. So long live Parsiana!
