Parsiana’s strengths: Gives one a lot of information about community members staying elsewhere. Shortcomings: Differences from one’s own ideas (knowledge) about our religion. But that cannot be helped.

We get good coverage of community matters worldwide. Parsiana should also cover the unique endeavors of small people like us as mentioned in my email to you about it around two years back.

Parsiana has consistency, balanced views and well researched articles. Here’s a suggestion: Dedicate a regular page to anjuman activities in other states in India.

Your strengths are truth — good thoughts and good words. You need to help the various panchayats with their problems.

You give news of all the community around the world impartially, especially births, marriages and deaths regardless of whether they are inter-caste. I see no shortcomings in your magazine. It is absolutely perfect.

Parsiana keeps one updated about all the community’s happenings and covers events 360 degrees. The articles are written with a broad perspective. You should cover stories from small towns and villages as well.

Parsiana’s strength lies in its fearless comments on community problems, especially on dakhmenashini which I highly appreciate. Encourage other community members to write so that you can find out what people want to know and write about it fearlessly and truthfully.

We would very much want to. If readers send us information, we could focus on the event. A reader from Baroda informed us about business enterprises there and we have given coverage and are in the process of giving more.

We collect, collate and print the data on Bombay Parsi to Parsi marriages within two to four weeks of the event. For births we are dependent on the various hospitals or parents to provide the information. Inter faith marriage data as well as data from crematoriums is collected on a quarterly basis.

Strengths: Vast coverage of events happening in our community and articles on religion are very useful for young Zoroastrian minds. Shortcomings: Nil. Good effort, keep it up!

We try and restrict our views to the "Editor’s Viewpoint.” In other articles, features, etc our thrust is to ensure that individual rights of community members are not vitiated by other individuals, groups or institutions. Some may view this as being partial but this stance is the bedrock of a free, democratic and constitutionally governed society. In my opinion Parsiana is really a fantastic Parsi magazine and expresses views impartially. Please keep the Parsi flag fluttering. Amen.
