Our Parsipanu

Forgetting we easily are these days, our culture, our Parsipanu/ Which our forefathers painstakingly passed on, sachhu sonu.

We must thank Kumi (Daroowala), for reviving the almost forgotten monajat/ We should also inculcate a habit of reciting Shahnameh ni vaat.

Hard rock music has now taken over the youngsters by storm/ Rustom Pehlwan is forgotten, now Batman keeps the blood warm.

Dhansak has been overtaken by pizzas, burgers, all fast food;/ In fashion are micro minis, to adorn garas and kors is not the mood.

Remember traditions we must; and be proud of our culture too/ This "Who cares?” attitude will only harm us; leaving us much to rue.
