Old Parsi run hotels
I am a third year PhD candidate focusing on the Parsi community of colonial Bombay for my research. I am currently working on a chapter on mid-19th century Parsi run hotels in the city — The Adelphi Hotel, The Hope Hall Family Hotel, Byculla Hotel, Clarendon Family Hotel, all in the Byculla/Mazagaon localities and The Royal Hotel, British Hotel, English Hotel, Imperial Hotel, The Great Western Hotel at Fort.

I would be very grateful if friends and family members of those who owned, managed or were employed at these hotels would share information and memorabilia about these establishments — old advertisements, menu cards, bills, anecdotes.
Details of hotel conglomerates like Messrs Pallonjee Pestonjee and Company and Jewanjee and Company as also any information on Parsi run hotels in Poona (like the Napier Hotel) and the hill stations of Matheran and Mahabaleshwar would also be welcome.
