Life begins at 60?

Out has gone your fire,/ You’ve decided to retire.
Say "Goodbye” to your tension/ And "Hello” to your monthly pension.
You start the day with, "Hip, hip hooray,/ I’m going to watch television all day.”
Soon your body begins to ache,/ You decide to take a lunch break.
Then you fill the afternoon gap/ With a relaxing two-hour nap.
In the evening you take a little walk;/ With your wife of old times you talk.
After dinner made by your cook,/ You spend some time reading a book.
Then into bed you crawl/ And into sleep you fall.
You’re woken up from sleep/ By the alarm clock’s "beep.”
So begin another 24 hours/ In which you can smell the flowers.
Day after day, it’s the same old thing,/ Sitting by the phone waiting for your children to ring.
Soon life bores you to death./ Oops! Don’t use that word — not yet!
