Milk powder required

About a decade ago, when the Zoroastrian Winter Relief Fund was not so well known and had limited funds to cater to the needs of the poor and middle class Zoroastrians, a sizeable amount of milk powder was received from abroad in one- to five-kilo packets by the Red Cross and sent to us through the late Silloo Kavarana and Mani Siganporia. We distributed the milk powder to individuals at widows’ homes, chawls, orphanages, convalescent homes, etc.

Today, with the prices of all commodities soaring, milk powder is badly needed. Will some foreign associations, groups or individuals come forward to cater to this need or guide us in the right direction? Our address is: Zoroastrian Winter Relief Fund, C/o Kumi J. Daroowala, 16/1 Rustom Baug, Sant Savta Marg, Bombay 400027, tel 022-23724492.
