Seminar in Khandala

The 10th Waldorf (Rudolf Steiner) Education Seminar will be held at the Dhunmai Cawasji School (D. C. Public School) in Khandala in May 2008. It will be conducted in two one-week sessions. The first week, from 5 p.m. on May 4, until 1 p.m. on May 10, 2008 will be only for all those who are working in Waldorf/Rudolf Steiner schools. The second week, from 5 p.m. on May 11, until 1 p.m. on May 17, 2008 will be open to all, including participants from the first week. Participants are expected to have a good knowledge of English.

Khandala, a hill station in Maha­rashtra, can be reached from Bombay or Poona by car, bus or train (railway station Khandala or Lonavla on Central Railway). The telephone number of the school is: 02114 — 269153. Boarding and lodging at the School will cost Rs 200 per person per day, plus Rs 1,500 as tuition fees for one week, per person. Please make the total payment in cash upon arrival.

Participants are requested to bring with them two bedsheets, a pillow and pillow case, water bottle, mosquito repellent, hat or cap, comfortable shoes for activities, torch, first-aid kit, notebook and basic stationery, a musical instrument if they play one, recorder (C-flute), photos and material for the evening presentation as well as a bathing suit, if they wish to swim in the School pool. Children and pets cannot be accommodated.
